Emily's new activity!!

Emily decided she wanted to try ballet instead of gymnastics this time around, so she started ballet and tap last Wednesday. She is in a class with 5 of her girl friends from her Kindergarten class. She looked pretty cute in her outfit and shoes and she seemed to have a lot of fun. They have a big recital in April which I'm sure she'll enjoy. We'll try to get some video as she learns some new things.

What I want to be when I grow up....by Aaron

I thought this was too cute!! Sherlock had found a nice, sunny spot on the carpet and then Aaron decided to join him. Before I knew it, they were both asleep. Aaron loves his buddy Sherlock. I'm not sure how mutual the feeling is, but Sherlock is very good with Aaron. Of course it helps that Aaron keeps Sherlock hooked up with snacks all day.

A day in the life of Emily and Aaron

So...Emily and Aaron have really been playing together lately. It's fun to watch them interact. Emily is so creative in the type of play she creates and Aaron loves it. They have been playing choo choo for the past two days and they ride all over the house like this. It's quite cute!! Emily also loves to build tents for Aaron. When he wants her to build a tent, he pulls out all the blankets and drags them to her. He may not talk....but he definitely communicates. I love watching them enjoy each other and spend time together. Hope you enjoy!!

P.S. Listen closely to the video. Emily talks about how they are going to Africa...or maybe Chicago..they're pretty equal, right?

Pastor Josh

Emily's been funny lately. She's starting to realize what I do.

She will sometimes, out of no-where, call me Pastor Josh. Not daddy... but Pastor Josh.

Last night she came up to me and said: 'Daddy, I think you are a good pastor.'

I told her: 'Thank you. Do you know what a pastor does?'

She said: 'Ummmm. They talk.' (Great line...heh heh)

I laughed and then I said: 'Well, what do they talk about?'

She said: 'They talk about God...'

Sweet.
