I loved your other baseball post! See I don't have to wait that long until next year as we Cub fans say.
I pass the time by watching the Illini which was great until Saturday. You will remember how painful it can be to live on the border of "that other state"! Go Illini & the Cubs forever!
I have a few in-laws that are Cub fans too... along with a few, here and there, sprinkled across middle America. I am not nice to most of them though, you are one of the only ones.
It is true that you don't have much longer for 'next year' to get here... however, it seems, that for a Cub fan... the waiting for 'next year' starts earlier than most teams: Say, when pitchers and catchers report next month... it will be time to start saying: Wait till 2007.
