After doing these polls about baseball movies since mid February... I have finally crowned a winner:
Bull Durham...
All three of you who voted four times a week crowned Bull Durham your champion!
Thanks for voting... here's another movie question that I'll keep up for awhile:
Which Star Wars movie is the best?

Now THAT'S boo worthy! It has some funny quotes, but as far as being the BEST baseball movie ever...come on you guys. What qualifies it to be??? Wow, 2 days in a row of being disappointed regarding baseball.

Jocelyn - Bull Durham has been my favorite baseball movie for awhile... really for one reason: It's a legitimate look at what 95% of all ball players go through. They meander their way through the minor leagues waiting to get called up... but most never get that call.
I like that there isn't a huge happy ending where someone gets the homerun or whatever... it's just an honest look at the minors.
I also think it's funnier than the rest of them as well.
"That thing got out of here so fast it needed a dang stewardess on it."
Classic.
Boo you, Joc:) Great flick, I'm on your side Josh...I was thinking of Bull Durham when I asked Jeff to paint my toes when I was expecting Olivia--I couldn't reach them myself--and it turned out nothing like the movie!!! Bless his heart :) for tryin'!!!
Easy, Angele. ;P I never said I didn't like the movie. :)
"Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic."

I can't argue with Bull Durham winning the competition, it's quite possibly the best baseball movie ever made and it's stinking hilarious.
As far as your Star Wars question. Episode V (Empire Strikes Back) is the hands down best. No one can even argue that.
Great quote, Joc...what does ;P mean?
